Byron Keich Lewis, a 44-year old barber from Vallejo, Calif., won a $573,945 Wheel of Fortune® quarter MegaJackpot at Silver Legacy Resort Casino. Lewis, who was visiting Reno with his girlfriend and another couple had been playing a different game when he decided to play Wheel of Fortune® quarters.
After playing just $40, Lewis hit the jackpot; “I am in shock,” said the lucky winner. “I was ready to switch to another machine, but my body wouldn’t move. When I won, I had no idea, but the lady sitting next to me told me what had happened.” The lucky winner plans to use the winnings to treat himself to some time off.
