Silver Legacy Resort Casino kicks off the summer concert season with Platinum-selling rockers, Sugar Ray with Mark McGrath. The concert is on Friday, June 5 at 8 p.m. in Silver Legacy’s Grande Exposition Hall.
Sugar Ray turned out several of the most breezily infectious summer singles of the late '90s. This summer, concertgoers can expect the same appealing combination of sunny pop, lightly funky hip-hop grooves and reggae lilt.
The band is set to perform some of their most popular hits including, “Fly,” a laid-back groove tailor-made for summertime, “Every Morning,” “Someday” and “When It’s Over.”
Sugar Ray’s, second album, “Floored” was a double-platinum hit and the bands third album, “14:59” outsold its predecessor; eventually going triple platinum. To date Sugar Ray has sold more than 8 million records worldwide.
Lead singer, Mark McGrath also found success hosting several show including, two seasons of "The Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll" as well as “Extra” for several seasons.
In 2004, McGrath was a guest judge "American Idol" and has made guest appearances on "Law & Order: SVU," "Las Vegas" and "North Shore."
Sugar Ray’s next album is set for an early summer release.
