Spoil Mom for Mother’s Day with Special Menus at the Eldorado and Silver Legacy

Reno, Nev. (April 17, 2017) – The Eldorado Resort Casino and Silver Legacy Resort Casino are pulling out all the stops to pamper moms this Mother’s Day, May 14, with special menus in The Buffet, Flavors! The Buffet, Sterling’s Seafood Steakhouse, Pearl Oyster Bar and Grill, Millies24 and Café Central.

 

From traditional brunch favorites to special savory dishes, the wide variety of flavors is sure to make mom feel special at The Buffet at the Eldorado. The salad bar includes shrimp cocktail, freshly tossed salad, seafood pasta salad, a yogurt bar, smoked salmon, chilled crab, peel and eat shrimp and devilish green eggs and ham, just to name a few. The carving station features mouth-watering selections like roast turkey breast, herb-roasted leg of lamb, old-fashioned brown sugar and mustard-glazed ham and broiled sirloin steak with wild mushrooms. At the hot line, guests can select from dishes like eggs Benedict and prosciutto, scrambled eggs with fresh ricotta and chives, candied French toast with pecan maple syrup and cheese blintzes with fruit sauce. Or choose from items like chipotle BBQ turkey sliders with vinaigrette cole slaw, pasta alfredo with smoked salmon, bacon wrapped pork loin with roasted vegetables, pineapple tamales, frutti de mare, mini crab cakes and the Eldorado’s famous mushroom ravioli with porcini cream sauce. Top it all off with one of The Buffet’s amazing pastries including Didier & Cindy’s special Mother’s Day Cake, orange chiffon cake, strawberry shortcake or stop by the gelato station for a homemade Italian treat. Mother’s Day Champagne brunch at The Buffet is served from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and costs $31.99 for adults, $15.99 for children four through 10 and $28.99 for ONE Club silver and above members and above.

 

Flavors! the Buffet at the Silver Legacy will offer a special Mother’s Day Buffet from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. Gourmet food options include a salad table with snow crab legs and chilled shrimp, a breakfast table with hickory smoked bacon, cinnamon French toast, scrambled eggs and a smoked salmon benedict. Carving station items include slow-roasted prime rib, honey baked ham, roast breast of turkey and herb crusted leg of lamb. Brunch table includes chicken with mushrooms, prosciutto and sage cream, baked sea bass with grapes, almonds and tarragon, crispy chicken fried steak, and San Francisco-style Cioppino. An elegant selection of desserts to include pastries, cakes, tartlets, parfaits, mousses, pies and sugar-free desserts will be available. Buffet pricing will be $31.99 for adults and $15.99 for children four to 10 years old and $28.99 for ONE Club silver and above members.

 

Treat mom to Sterling’s Seafood Steakhouse’s famous Sunday Champagne Brunch. A sumptuous selection of live action entrée stations and menu items including baked bone-in ham with marmalade glaze, pork schnitzel with caper butter, baby lamb chops and Italian sausage with roasted garlic and broccoli florets, an omelet station, a symphony of desserts and much more topped off with a complimentary choice of Domaine Ste. Michelle Brut or Bisol Jeio Prosecco Sparking Wine, Mimosa or Bellini. Price: $44.99 for adults, $24.99 children ages 4 to 10, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

 

For $28 per person, Pearl Oyster Bar and Grill will serve a choice of creamy lobster bisque with aged sherry and crème fraiche or Salinas greens, strawberry and sugared almond salad, plus a crab-stuffed petrale sole with buttered fingerling potatoes, roasted baby carrots, early asparagus and a strawberry rhubarb tartlet with housemade buttermilk ice crema for dessert. This three-course meal will be served in addition to Pearl’s regular menu from 11 a.m. to closing.

 

Café Central will serve a three course meal for $24 per person from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. to include a choice of creamy lobster bisque or Salinas greens, strawberry and sugared almond salad, grilled filet mignon and shrimp scampi with herb mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables, plus strawberry shortcake with lavender whipped cream and sugared almonds for dessert.

 

At Millies24, three menu items will be on special for Mother’s Day and all moms get free dessert. For $10.95, a Kansas City Style smoked prime rib sandwich served with coleslaw and fries. For $13.50, chicken marsala with a mushroom, sundried tomato, fresh basil and marsala wine sauce, served with buttered linguini and asparagus. For $14, a crab omelet with smoked salmon and chive crème fraiche served with grilled fresh asparagus and hashbrowns.
