Welcome 2018 with nearly a dozen parties to choose from at the Eldorado, Silver Legacy and Circus Circus Reno
Reno, NV (Nov. 30, 2017) – It’s been another monumental year for the Eldorado, Silver Legacy and Circus Circus Reno with over $50 million in renovations, so it’s no surprise that they’ll welcome in 2018 in big ways -- with nearly a dozen rollicking parties, countdowns and plenty of celebratory party hats and favors handed out on the casino floor and a spectacular downtown fireworks show at midnight. Every bar will have the drinks flowing and your feet dancing well past 2017’s end. Try one or try them all with an All Access pass; whatever you choose, we hope you’ll join us as we say goodbye to one year and wave hello to the next.
The All Access Pass includes entry to rockin’ parties at The Brew Brothers, NoVi, Rum Bullions, Aura and El Jefe’s Cantina for $60 in advance. Better yet, get your hands on the All Access Premium Pass for $100 in advance that includes VIP entry at all paid parties, hosted premium bar from 9 p.m. to midnight at all Eldorado, Silver Legacy and Circus Circus bars, plus a $10 food credit to Millies24 or Café Central. Enjoy bottomless Grey Goose, Ketel One, Three Olives, Patron, Jager, Jack Daniels or Crown Royal then conclude the evening with late-night favorites like nachos, burgers and tacos.
Each of the paid entry venues will have a $20 advance cover charge as well as their own open premium bar from 9 p.m. – 12 a.m. for $50. At Aura, enjoy the beats of DJ Travis Ha on the turntables or the Garage Boys and DJ Montague at The Brew Brothers. DJ Chris English will spice up El Jefe’s Cantina, Roni V and Scenic will spin your favorite mixes at NoVi and Super Bad will perform your favorite cover songs live at Rum Bullions.

There are plenty of places to celebrate for no cover charge and with just as much fun. Roxy’s Bar and Lounge mixes it up with Gil, Bobby and Paul at the piano bar starting at 4:30 p.m. with DJ Sam Forbes stepping in at 11 p.m. to turn it up into the “oui” hours of the morning. No cover, and there will be party favors, a countdown and midnight toast.
Those looking for a more laid-back place to ring in 2018 can head to Cin Cin Bar and Lounge at the Eldorado or, visit the Silver Baron Lounge in the Silver Legacy for prime viewing for the confetti blast under the Dome at midnight. Guests are also invited to check out Bar Centro and Drinx or the Village Bar and Blast Bar at Circus Circus Reno for a relaxing night to close out the year.
Guests who want to start celebrating early are invited to dine at one of many award-winning, fine dining establishments between the Eldorado and Silver Legacy, including Roxy’s, La Strada, Sterling’s Seafood Steakhouse, Pearl Oyster Bar and Café Central, where special New Year’s Eve menus will be presented.
Dinner comes complete with wine for $105 and a minimum of two people at Roxy. Begin with a choice of Belgiun Endive, blood orange segments, Dungeness crab and lemon-mustard citronette paired with Luc Belaire Rare Luxe Cuvee France NV or cream of potatoes and leeks soup with a pan-seared scallop, fried leeks and caviar paired with Ferrari-Carano Tre Terra Chardonnay Russian River 2012. The entrée is an upside down beef wellington with sunchokes-potatoes gratin, wild mushrooms duxelles and demi-glace paired with Ferrari-Carano Pinot Noir Anderson Valley 2013. For dessert, enjoy a spiced crème chiboust with persimmon and hazelnut Florentine paired with Ferrari-Carano Eldorado Gold Russian River 2009. This meal is also available without the wine selections for $75 and a minimum of two people.
Felice Anno Nuovo from La Strada – that’s Happy New Year in Italian! For $60, enjoy an extravagant four course meal designed by Chef Ivano Centemeri. Begin with the antipasto or rucola, fennel, blood orange, EVOO black olives, bread crumbles and smoked salmon gravlax. Primi Piatti (first course) is a beef brasato cappellacci and risotto king grab leg meat with burrata and candied lemon. Secondi Piatti is a pan-roasted black cod with cream of potatoes, onion and fried leeks and roasted suckling pig “porchetta” with hazelnut emulsion and roasting au jus. Finally, for dolce, or dessert, enjoy lime semifreddo with wild berries and orange crisp.
Dazzle your appetite with a four course meal from Sterling’s Seafood Steak House for just $78 per person. The first course is seared hand harvested sea scallop with coconut risotto, pineapple-jalapeño relish and mango ginger coulis. The second course delights with a choice of forest mushroom soup or baby arugula and kale followed by the main course of CAB fillet of beef and cold water lobster tail served with three cheese au gratin potatoes, seasonal farm fresh vegetables and thermidor mustard sauce. For dessert, a celebratory chocolate dome resembling the Silver Legacy’s iconic dome structure, made with chocolate mousse, raspberry cremeux, white chocolate mousse, chocolate and Chambord raspberry coulis.
Café Central and Pearl Oyster Bar will both offer a three course meal for $24.95 which includes the choice of asparagus bisque with wild mushrooms and crème fraiche or a house salad, herb roasted prime rib of beef and garlic prawns with roasted red pepper, fontina au gratin and seasonal vegetables, and for dessert, champagne strawberry mousse cake with crème anglaise and strawberry coulis.
