RENO, Nev. (Dec. 18, 2017) – The Eldorado Resort Casino, Silver Legacy Resort Casino and Circus Circus Reno are pleased to invite their guests to spend Christmas by dining in one of many award-winning restaurants offering special holiday menus in observance of the merriest time of the year.
For a casual celebration, The Buffet at the Eldorado prepares a bountiful all-you-can-eat feast where traditionalists and gourmands will find what they’re craving. The carving station will feature classics like roast turkey, hot link and kielbasa sausages, oven-roasted cranberry Dijon glazed ham, roasted rosemary leg of lamb and roast prime rib of beef. Guests will also find favorites like peel and eat shrimp and chilled snow crab legs plus tasty entrées like pork loin with roasted balsamic onions, broiled sirloin steak, crab cakes, mushroom ravioli, 10 herbs chicken breast with fried polenta, cheese stuffed meatball slider marinara, holiday tamales with raisins and pineapple and grilled blackened salmon. Dessert rounds out the meal with assorted holiday pastries, cakes and pies including pumpkin pie, chocolate cream pie, cannoli, cobbler, bread pudding with rum sauce and nine flavors of homemade gelato. Available Christmas from 11:30 a.m. for $33.99 for adults, $30.99 for ONE Club Silver members and above and $15.99 for children ages ten and under.
An unforgettable experience awaits at Roxy, where in addition to the regular menu, a special three-course Christmas dinner and wine pairing will be served. To begin, diners will enjoy a glass of Luc Belaire Rare Luxe Cuvee Champagne. Dinner then commences with a cream of cornmeal with edam cheese, sautéed mushrooms and herb oil paired with Ferrari-Carano Tre Terre Chardonnay. The main course gives diners the option of pan-roasted venison loin with purple mashed potatoes and lingonberry compote or pan-seared black cod with a pinot noir reduction, pomegranate seeds and parsnip puree. Both choices will be paired with Ferrari-Carano Pinot Noir, Anderson Valley 2013. Zabajone Cheesecake with cranberries and crunch pepitas and a glass of Ferrari Carano, Eldorado Gold, Russian River 2009 completes the meal. This shareable meal is $88 per person with a minimum of two people, or $56 per person without wine selections. Dinner will be served starting at 4 p.m. and the regular menu will also be available.
Eldorado’s Executive Chef Ivano Centemeri adds Italian flair to Christmas at La Strada for $44 per person starting at 4p.m. Antipasto – which translates to “before the meal,” is a gourmet salad with Belgian endive, Dungeness crab, pomegranate seeds and lemon-mustard dressing. Primi piatti – or first dish and traditionally a pasta plate – chicken cacciatora tortelli and wild mushroom risotto with brie cheese followed by secondi piatti – or main course – prosciutto-wrapped monk fish with a pinot noir reduction and parsnip puree and roasted breast of duck with opal apple and cranberry chutney. For “dolce,” or dessert, a warm chocolate chunk croissant pudding with Chantilly, hazelnut and fresh berries. Buon Natale! (That’s Merry Christmas in Italian.) La Strada’s regular menu will also be available.
Millie’s24 will have traditional Christmas items on their menu available from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. including pecan-glazed honey ham served with scalloped potatoes, butternut squash and green beans, Hunter’s style chicken with tomato, onion and mushrooms together in a wine-infused chicken broth served with buttered pasta. These items are just $14.95. For $21.95, a roasted breast of duck, garlic mashed potatoes, roasted winter vegetables and cranberry sauce is available. Soup or House Salad can be added for $2.95, while pumpkin, apple or cranberry pie can be added for $3.95.
Silver Legacy Dining
At Flavors! the Buffet inside the Silver Legacy, delight your senses with an irresistible array of taste sensations and indulge your Christmas appetite for variety. The pantry and salad table will include snow crab legs and chilled shrimp, sweet corn bisque, baby kale and quinoa salad, saffron tortellini with smoked salmon and sweet potato and purple yam salad. Over at the carving station, honey-baked ham, slow-roasted prime rib and herb-roasted turkey breast are just a few of the delicious meats being served. Entrées will include lamb served three ways, poached filet of sole with lobster sauce and fleuron, blackened scallops, duck leg confit and soft polenta, braised short ribs and three cheese mac and cheese. Asian specialties will include pork ribs in black bean sauce, sweet and sour chicken and pork belly. At the pasta and pizza station, seafood ravioli with lobster sauce, Eldorado’s mushroom ravioli with porcini cream and shrimp and scallop scampi-style pizza. Desserts include pastries, cakes, tartlets, parfaits, mousses, fruit pies and sugar-free desserts upon request. Served 11:30 a.m. to closing, adults are $33.99, $30.99 for ONE Club Silver and Above members and children ages ten and under will be $15.99.
A seventeen-time Wine Spectator “Award of Excellence Winner,” Sterling’s Seafood Steakhouse’s Christmas feast includes a choice of mushroom ravioli with black and white truffle, fresh herbs and parmesan garlic cream or crab and mango salad, roasted corn and mussel chowder or baby kale salad and CAB filet of beef and jumbo shrimp scampi with horseradish mashed potatoes, seasonal farm fresh vegetables and cranberry thyme demi glaze. No Christmas is complete without an eloquent dessert for which Sterling’s will serve a warm caramel apple brioche pudding with rum raisin ice cream, caramel sauce and crème anglaise. This complete meal begins at 5 p.m. on Christmas Day and is available for $68 per person.
Pearl Oyster Bar and Café Central, which offers casual dining, an open atmosphere and quality cuisine will serve a prix fixe Christmas dinner consisting of a choice of butternut squash bisque or seasonal field green salad, honey-glazed ham with cranberry-pineapple compote, creamed mashed potatoes, sage apple dressing and seasonal vegetables or roasted tom turkey with creamed mashed potatoes, sage apple dressing, candied sweet potatoes, turkey giblet gravy and seasonal vegetables, and a holiday-spiced rum cake with pear chutney for dessert. This delicious meal will be served for $18.95 plus tax starting at 11 a.m.
After feasting, guests are invited to see “The Unbelievables Christmas Extravaganza” at the Eldorado Theatre.
